Grizzly Bird infuses lush orchestration into Hans’s raw storytelling verve, with evocative lyricism and dreamy, fingerpicked reverie.
Michael Brinkworth is a Berlin-based, world-travelling, guitar and harmonica wielding troubadour, originally hailing from Brisbane, Australia, with a backpack-full of heart-felt road-worn songs. He has honed a unique songwriting and performing style and developed his own idiosyncratic take on alternative-folk with a country-soul twist.
Kilkelly is a project where collaborators from the UK, Ireland and Germany come together to perform music written by, Irish born, Berlin based, Conor Kilkelly. The songs are a mangled mix of genres such as blues, folk and spoken word – with a splash of the macabre for good measure.
He started at the "Putia d'Arte Malvina Franco" Theater School directed by Lollo Franco.
Later, he graduated from the National Academy of Cinema of Bologna - Dubbing Course with Rodolfo Bianchi and Massimo Giuliani.
There are numerous participations in shows, in the main Sicilian and Italian theaters.
Musical duo guitar and wind instruments: Sax, clarinet and ethnic instruments.
To boil it all down very simply, Lizzy is the singer and the Palm is the song. Or perhaps the Palm is the radio station where the melody is playing when Lizzy hears it and grabs a pen. Or perhaps it's the knob she twists to pick up the signal.. Perhaps the Palm is the ocean through which the sound waves travel, the glue between entities, the electricity, the magnetism. In any case, Lizzy doesn't like to take all the credit. The radio plays a bit of everything - namely folk, calypso, jazz, indie, funk, rock, and blues.
Chris Obehi started playing music from my young age, fleeing his country because of religious war, and came to Italy as an immigrant. He is currently living in Italy studying and at Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini (Palermo).
Palermo born comedian, documentary maker, screenwriter and author. began writing comic magic shows the age of 16. At 18 he collaborated in writing "Sgrilla la Notizia", Sicilian rib of Striscia la Notizia, led by Sasà Salvaggio, which still in production.
Winner of the national literary prize "Racconti nella rete 2018" organized by the association LuccAutori and sponsored by Rai. Finalist of the literary prize for illustrated stories "Tapirulan" of Cremona. Several of his stories have been read on Rai Radio2 and Radio. 24 and published in different book.
